Pandigital Novel Firmware Updates
In order to improve and enhance your Pandigital Novel experience, we will be making available a number of software and firmware updates. These updates are intended to improve the functionality of the Pandigital Novel as well as add new features and capabilities.

Updates for Pandigital Novel 7" Color Multimedia eReader (White model)
To make the process fast and easy, we offer two options for updating your Pandigital Novel
Option 1 allows you to update your Pandigital Novel via direct PC connection.
Option 2 allows you to update your Pandigital Novel using an SD Memory Card
Note: Personal settings will be deleted during the upgrade process (i.e., B&N login, email account, Wi-Fi network, alarms, etc.).
Firmware upgrades dated after August 6, 2010 retain your eBook annotations (last read page, bookmarks, highlights and notes) and periodical dates associated with your downloaded eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers.
Find your current firmware version under Settings>Support.

Option 2 allows you to update your Pandigital Novel using an SD Memory Card
Performing a firmware update resets all settings to factory defaults, and all your personalized data (email accounts, contacts, etc.) will be deleted.
Your Barnes & Noble eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers will be deleted, but you can simply re-download the media to My Library after the update is complete.
Any local media (music, video, etc.) that you imported from SD card or copied from computer will remain in the device.
